This year’s European Mobility Week was inaugurated in Lodz thanks to the third edition of the New Mobility Congress (KNM) – the largest mobility conference in Poland, which was held on September 12-14 and gathered a record number of over 1,500 participants.

The New Mobility Congress is a cyclical event organized by our partner organization, the Polish Alternative Fuels Association (PSPA), which brings together the key players in the mobility sector, including the automotive industry, transport operators, providers of new mobility services, companies developing electromobility and, of course, public sector decision makers. The last year’s edition of KNM gathered over 1,000 participants, and we conducted a thematic session on the New Mobility Development Strategy.

This year, the New Mobility Congress was hosted by Lodz again and inaugurated the celebration of the European Mobility Week. As stated by the organizers, the KNM participants met to discuss new generation technologies introduced to the market, as well as talked about identifying business models, infrastructure requirements and partnerships that enable financing of mobility projects. All this in order to reduce emissions and ensure safe and sustainable movement of people and goods in Poland.

Our role during this year’s congress was even more noticeable. On September 13, we premiered the New Mobility Development Strategy, then we conducted a session on the development of alternative forms of transport as an effective way to reduce emissions, and at the end of the day we took part in the meeting of the New Mobility Committee, which we co-chair.

More information on the New Mobility Congress is available on the event’s website: KNM.
